About the role
The Cashier is responsible for delivering efficient, friendly, and accurate customer service at the point of sale. This role ensures correct processing of all transactions, maintains cash‑handling integrity, and supports smooth front‑of‑house operations.

What you’ll do
Customer Service The Cashier provides friendly, efficient service and ensures every customer feels welcomed. Orders must be captured accurately and queries handled confidently, with any concerns escalated to a manager when needed.
Transaction Management The Cashier processes all payments accurately, including cash, card, and digital transactions, while correctly applying promotions and combos. All items must be rung up before being handed to customers to protect revenue and operational integrity.
Cash Handling & Controls The Cashier manages the cash drawer responsibly by maintaining the float, securing the till, and completing accurate start‑ and end‑of‑shift counts. Any discrepancies must be reported immediately and all cash‑handling procedures strictly followed.
POS Accuracy The Cashier ensures the POS system is used correctly, maintaining order accuracy and preventing errors such as unauthorized voids or unrecorded sales. Any system issues or irregularities must be reported promptly to protect stock and financial accuracy.
Store Operations Support The Cashier supports the front‑of‑house team by keeping the counter and customer areas clean and assisting with packaging or preparation during busy periods. Clear communication with the kitchen and service teams helps maintain smooth service flow.
Compliance & Standards he Cashier follows all company procedures, SOPs, and hygiene requirements to ensure a safe and compliant service environment. Professional presentation and consistent adherence to policies help maintain a culture of honesty and operational discipline.
